TSN, ESPN, etc are all reporting that Babcock has been signed to a 3 year contract. I think this was a great move, because obviously the players understand Babcock and have accepted him as a coach. He gets the best out of nearly everyone, and has implemented a winning system.

EDIT: Numbers are $1.5mill a year with bonus potential. I can't say I care how much he is getting paid, because it doesn't affect the cap at all, but that makes him one of the highest paid coaches in the league. Well deserved, IMO.

Agreed. Good to see him staying in Detroit. He had some big shoes to fill and he's done great work.
