Who the hell vacations in Sri Lanka, btw?

Do people watch the news at all? Africa, in general, is a warzone. Has been 1997. I always wanted to take an African safari in Kenya.

That aint happening anymore.

Never heard of this guy. Really interesting story though. I actually met a guy from Sri Lanka(which is right below India) and after hearing how he described his country...and why he is in the Americas, I cant figure out why anyone would vacation there either. They got hit super hard when the Tsunami hit a few years ago. I always wonder why people would vacation in places like this...or like that six star resort in Dubai that actually has skiing and snowboarding in the middle of the desert, where all the movie stars hang out. Anyway, glad that guy made it out alive.

Yep, I remember him. He played with the Wings for about a year and wasn't bad, he decided to go back home to play or something.

Very steady stay-at-homer. Apparently wanted to stay even closer to home...He actually signed a big contract with the RSL to play in Russia (Over $1 Million a year Tax Free, was the report).

Too bad. He probably would have developed nicely with Detroit.
