If my opinion differs than yours and you dont like it then put me on ignore.
A soft team in a soft league? What do you want the NHL to be, a beer-league punchout on ice? What is soft? The fights and the hits? Or maybe Dallas Drake? Three fights in five games...soooo soft. You dont sound like a Red Wings fan. You are a mere critic, if that. If you think the NHL has such problems, then you can drive to Grand Rapids and see some minor league hockey... because players like Henrik Zetterberg arent good enough for you. have fun watching patrick boileau, buddy.

The team is soft.

The NHL is soft. 24 penalties last night

I am a Red Wing fan. I am a Red Wing critic. I am a critic of the "new" Nhl.

I guess you like games like last night were there were 24 penalties called. It was trash. If that is your brand of hockey then we have nothing in common when it comes to hockey. Are you European by chance?

No one likes a game littered with penalties.

And no more comments on how European players are all soft. Its discriminatory at best.

I'm over the top because I asked you to stop making discriminatory remarks against Euro's? We all understand your opinion, and you repeating it is getting monotonous.

Where did I say ALL Euros are soft? That is an over the top statement is it not?

What discriminatory remarks did I make against Euros? Show me.

You insinuate it every time you say that this is a soft league, and then saying that because I don't mind this kind of hockey, I enjoy "European" hockey. Therefore, you imply that European players are soft. You're just trying to split hairs.

Lets make no mistake here, I'm not spliting hairs;

Where did I say ALL Euros are soft as you claim I said? Show me.

This league is soft. Very, very soft. Look at the Ducks game as proof. Look at the stupid penalties as proof. Compare this to the nhl of 10 or more years ago. SOFT.

Do you even know about European hockey? No fighting, barely any checking. SOFT.

Look at the Euros in this league. The MAJORITY of them are soft compared to N. American players. Look at them.

Be educated before you go around making inflammatory statements about others you CANNOT back up. Statements you make that are UNTRUE.

I have no problem with anyone liking any kind of hockey they want. Just don't tell me the Wings are a tough team and expect me to agree.

I am saying that you are INSINUATING that all European players are soft. You can go back through this thread and read in nearly every post you've made that would seem to insinuate this.

I'm making inflammatory comments? By asking you not to keep making the connection of soft= European?

I never said that the Wings are a tough team, I said that they can beat a tough team, and that they do have overall grit. If you want to call their style of play soft, thats fine, but I think that there are better ways to sum it up. Finesse, comes to mind right away. There are less negative connotations when referring to it this way.

And I am far from uneducated. I understand and know just as much about hockey as you do. We just choose to make different judgements and use different terminology when discussing the game.

This argument is now way off topic. If you have anything else to say to me, do so in the form of a PM.
