You can always just do what I do... mute it. I was watching the Leafs and the Wings game, and I found that the TSN announcers were just as bad as the VS guys.

The only solution to our problem is FSN broadcasting all 82 games, pre and post season. Their the only station that seems to be able to get it right, and games are no fun on mute or with some idiot rambiling about how Bertuzzi is redemming himself....

Well, Detroit is facing off against Chicago tonight. The Hawks are without Toews and Havlat tonight, so we should be seeing a lot of Patrick Kane. Kane played almost 17 minutes in his last game, which is surprising given that many hockey analysts had the guy as too small to crack the team, much less play that many minutes. The London Knights will miss him and Gagner this year, thats for sure.
As for the Red Wings, no injuries to report, and I'm pretty sure Hasek is going to be starting tonight. As long as Datsyuk and Zetterberg bring their A game, and Rafalski can learn not to make gaffs at the blueline, this should be an easy enough win for Detroit.
Also, looking forward to playing against Robert Lang, rather than having him on the team. Hopefully he is as friendly to us tonight as he was to the opposition when he played for us. With Havlat gone, I don't see Lang as much of a threat. I expect that Jason Williams will bring it to us tonight though, because he always seems to. I think the guy must be bitter.

That was depressing... Let's look at the good though. Rafalski got his first regular season goal as a Wing, and we still got a point out of it.

Right. At least we got a point. Hasek should have stopped that shot by Lang. I don't understand what the deal was when Datsyuk had the empty net?? FSN looked at the replay and they said oh the ref lost sight of the puck?? Oh well. I look forward to the game against Edmonton tonight. Should be a good game.

Lets hope tonights game is better than the game against Chicago. I cannot beleive we blew a lead! One the way I hate to lose, by blowing a lead.

I was pretty upset myself, but it is early in the season and it is quite clear that the Wings are trying to adjust to the changes of the offseason still. Without Franzen tonight, the Wings will have to make some big adjustments to the lineup. I still think we'll be able to pull it off though.

Well the Wings come out with a well earned win against the Oilers 4-2. Lilja looked slow and sloppy, and it was lucky that Lidstrom was there to bail him out. Hasek doesn't look good half the time, but looks great the other half... nothing has changed. Zetterberg with 2 more points.. this guy is on a serious tear, hopefully he can keep going. Zetterberg is also the Red Wings forward playing the most minutes, so it is good to see he is taking advantage of that hugely. Datsyuk isn't getting on the stat sheet, but he has looked great.
Supporting cast= slightly better than decent.
Next game, Wednesday vs the Flames. That'll be a toughy.

2-0-0-1 isn't a bad start though, we'll just need Hank and the boys to keep up the hard work, and that should be 3-0-0-1.

Yeah, I like Lilja less and less every game. Datsyuk is doing alright so far, 2 assists. Not horrible considering we have only played 3 games. Hank looks good, like normal. Last nights game did look a lot better than the game against Chicago. Calgary will be a tough one, unless we play them like we did last season in the playoffs. They are 0 and 2 so far this season. We will see.
