We'll all miss you chelly!
Um, what are you talking about? Did you even read what was said? Chelios is back for at least another year.

In his defense, the words "resigns" and "re-signs" have totally different meaninge, in fact when I first read the title I thought Chelios was retiring myself.

I too noticed the difference. But the title is misleading in the grammatical sense.

Yet he proved how much of thread he bothered to read, and how little he knows about/ pays attention to hockey. Also, as you pointed out, players "retire", they don't "resign". I apologize for my poor grammar, I didn't realize a hyphen made such a huge difference in peoples ability to comprehend something so simple.

No offense man, but that stupid little hyphen differentiates the two seperate words. Words that have entirely different meanings.

Did I get what you meant? Yes.

But I dont fault someone who doesnt. How do you know English is his first language? Without the hyphen, a bilingual would interpret your word for its exact meaning.
