Face-off: 9 p.m., Pepsi Center, Denver.
Overview: The Avs beat Detroit, 3-2, last Thursday. Last chance for some of the younger guys to make an impression because the Wings will send many of them to Grand Rapids after the game.

Whoops, I have not been keeping the game log here going for Detroit. See what happens when you get married!

Take two against the Avs. Still preseason, but good to see some of the youngsters coming into their own. Hudler and Kopecky are going to be great additions this season and Franzen is becoming another Holmstrom.

Looks like we took this one too... but from what i read it was a close a good game.. it sucks not having access to any highlights or anything over here.... but i only have a week to go!!

Yeah, another preseason loss. Wolski is looking smooth for you guys. Good to see Hudler and Kronwall improve as the preseason goes on.

I was reading the other day about the preseason. Detroit plays 9 preseason games. Why? Some teams only play 5. All teams should play 5, start the season a couple of weeks early. Oh well, my three cents....
