Don't worry, the Wings are a good veteran team, and will bounce back from this. A couple of things just didn't bounce Detroit's way, and they didn't do the best on defense. If they can lock down the Preds in game 4 and prevent too many oddman rushes, then they can take the commanding 3-1 series lead. Hopefully we ahve some better luck, too. I mean that trickler when it was 2-1, man that was a heart breaker! So close! And several times the puck was either shot across the goal mouth or just laying around, the Wings werent able tog et their sticks on it. Hopefully, we can get a few more goals on this guy. The important thing is, he didn't shut us out, and that gives the Wings some more confidence I believe. Voukoun has been, and will be, beaten by the Wings, and they will do it again in game 4.

I think the wings had a hard time because they are an older team with not a lot of speed, whereas nashville has speed and they're young. It's easier for them to play back to back games than it is for us. Nonetheless it doesn't say much for nashville with all the bad bounces, the fatigue, and overall bad luck the wings had that they couldn't capitalize any better than they did. I mean did you guys see the play, I think it was in the third perioid where the puck was in the crease but they're player got there before datsyuk could tip it in!!! I was on the edge of my seat!

I think we're all right. Remember, Vokoun was very solid in game 3, we couldn't score on the PP and missed some great chances to score. You can see that at times we dominate and are able to put the pressure on them. I think that might be key, play keep away and make quick passes that we're used to seeing, give & go type plays which can break down the type of game Nashville likes to play which is high tempo and lots of pressure on the puck.

As well, Lewis has to look long and hard at Hatcher and decide that he isn't ready for the amount of ice time he had gotten so far. He has looked terrible on occasion and very slow. Plus he's getting beat along the boards and in the corners by the faster Preds players. His size and strength has been a non-factor so far.

i am going crazy i am on vacation and i cannot get to any of the wings games all the sports channels i can get just have soccer coverage. right now i am trying to catch up on everything that has been happening on this site at $1.50 a min. but all ive got to say is go wings you need to make it to the second round so i can see the games :roll:
