Umm, it is the Presidents Trophy, the Presidents cup is a Yachting prize and a golf award.

BTW I had to move this into the Detroit section where it belongs.

eh the last time the wings got this golf award they ended up with stanley too

That's okay Tony Y, no need to apologize. The Canucks fans knew what we were getting at. Their envy is quite flattering. All kidding aside, the West is going to be tough, the Red Wings are on a roll, hoping they'll carry that into the playoffs. No series in the West is going to be easy. Should be fun.

That's okay, I've called it the cup too. If you notice nothing else award wise in the NHL is refered to as a cup but the holy grail.

with the key injuries and the crowded crease this is a well deserved award for the Wings. Dave Lewis has done a hell of a job stepping into the shoes of a legend. Now they have to do something in the playoffs.
