Default Hatcher's return?

I am getting anxious for this, it should be soon. Do you think he will help? With Schneider, Fisher, and Rivers all playing well, allowing Lidstrom to decrease his ice time somewhat, is there room for substantial minutes for Hatcher? Will he have the discipline to play within the Red Wings system? Will he be 100% and in shape for the playoffs?

This will only help the Red Wings, having Hatcher back. I must admit, I was never a fan of his but just like Chelios, I tollerate and accept that he is on my team and will cheer for him. I would like to see him paired up with Fischer, what a physical pairing that would be. With the depth on the blueline the Red Wings have, this will allow Lewis to slowly insert Hatcher into the line up without the pressure of playing 20+ minutes to get him back into game shape and get used to the system again. By playoff time, he should be raring to go and able to eat up 20+ minutes when they need him to.

He'll definitely help the Red Wings. They've done fine of course without him, but having him back will add more depth to the Wings blueline.

the return of hatcher will be an immense asset to the wings. with hasek out and cujo coming back from injury they need all the d they can get. hatcher is a giant on the blue line and will add some physical play to the wings lineup which they lack. a team can never have enough d like i always say offense wins games defense wins championships...

I am WAY fired up...just found out I am going to the March 8th game vs. Tampa Bay! Hatcher may play, AND I get to see Marty St. Louis and the red hot Lightning battle the Wings. TOO COOL!!!
