Finally someone listened to my rambling on and on. I have been saying for months, no make that all of last year, that Legace deserved the number 1 spot. Did anyone else agree with me? No. Well hahahaha, finally someone does.
Legace would be number 1 anywhere else and any team would be lucky to have him.
I never thought Cujo was that great to begin with and after surgery he becomes less so. I don't think Hasek will be that great either after taking a year off to become a hooligan.
Now if others would just agree with my theory that Marek Malik will be the top defenseman in the NHL this year.

Hashek went out strong and I still think he has great potential to play the game of hockey. Still he ended his career in the best way possible, if he does come back, he shouldn't expect andy miracles or story-tale career endings.
this is kinda like dashavoo from when hasek first became a wing because no one knew what they were going to do with osgood and it wasnt until right before the begining of the season that they dumped him
I hope Joseph gets the job because even though he's not bad, I sure don't want the Dominator back in the Red Wings net! (Probably because I'm an Av's fan)

I doubt Cujo will get the job. Detroit didn't sign Hasek jsut to trade him....I think.
Joseph's in a real dillema, look at all that has happened to him in the past year:
He gets traded to the wings and many canadian fans are heart-broken and angered... next he leads the wings into the playoffs where he loses to the mighty ducks of anahiem, next when the season ends he gets the news hashek is coming back, now hes looking for a team to go too. All this in one short year, who wouldv'e guessed it?
I honeslty beleive that Legace has what it takes to be a number one starter, and there are teams that he would be. Hasek is unpredictable at best, but he'll be starting this year for the Wings, hes a proven starter and has good experince behind. The only thing that I can see affecting Hasek the fact he spent the last year out of the NHL and may be out of form to start this season... but I am sure he'll catch on quickly. Cujo's the odd man out and he knows it, the Wings might just keep around but i don't see why. I am not sure who would trade for him either, price tag is pretty high espically with the 2004 lock out looming, and hes not a solid starter. Wings have alot of goaltending depth, but they've made it clear that Hasek is there number 1.
