last i heard the red wings were thinking about re-signing mcarty. but i havent really been paying attention to the news so does anyone know if the red wings re-signed him?

yea they resigned him on july 1 for a 4 year deal... I'm not sure the price though

I dunno if he's worth 2.5M... He's a good player, obvoiusly very tough. Detroit has the money so I guess you may as well give it to him.
