Red Wings GM Ken Holland he left the NHL Entry Draft disappointed with contract negotiations for his impending unrestricted free agents, reports the Detroit News.
Holland met with the agents for Dominik Hasek, Mathieu Schneider, Todd Bertuzzi and Danny Markov in Columbus this past weekend and told the paper he'll likely have to make "hard decisions."
With approximately $10 million to spend, the Wings aren't expecting to bring back all four free agents. They have already indicated that they will not be signing Robert Lang or Kyle Calder to contracts.
