Chris Chelios will return for his 24th NHL season after re-signing with the Wings today, according to a Wings press release.
Red Wings General Manager Ken Holland today announced the team has re-signed defenseman Chris Chelios to a one-year contract. In keeping with club policy, additional terms of the deal are not available.
"Chris is coming off another outstanding season and was one of the best defensemen on any team through three rounds of the Stanley Cup Playoffs," said Holland.
