Well, I'm not sure what to say in my own words...Simply awesome. He looked very completely comfortable on the ice, actually more than comfortable, hell anyone in my opinion who scores a hat trick in their first NHL game...Just awesome. I also took notice of his chemistry with Richards. Talk about exciting. should be a great season.

Well I'm just excited that Dallas actually has some young players with some offensive talent. After suffering through Kapanen and Miettinen it's nice to have a couple of players like Neal and Brunnstrom. That being said I hope that Brunnstrom can continue to score and that this game isn't his only display of offensive ability. Still it was a great first game for him. Maybe Tippet has finally found someone to play with Richards.

That is impressive. I remember a lot of talk about him coming over last year and the "sweepstakes" going for him. I wasn't too interested since well... we all sawwhat happened with Jiri Dopita.

Looks like this one might turn out alright though.

That was awesome congrats to Brunnstrom on being only the 3rd player in NHL history to do so.
Why can't the Stars win more games? They lost to Colorado, they should be winning they have a talented roster.

Early season syndrome.

Some of the better teams in the league start off the season horribly or well below their usual standards, while some of the pretenders or bottom feeders look like they could challenge for the Stanley Cup down the road.

By Christmas time, things will start to straighten out. They always do.

Dallas does this every year, so I'm not too worried. Last season they did the ame thing, then had 3 10 game winning streaks.
