He's logged just shy, 6 to be specific, of 400 games in the NHL and lasted for 6 seasons, next year will be his 7th, in the role he plays has done pretty good at sticking around. He puts a point on the board every 5 games and we've seen, although not always effective, he'll fight anyone.

Saying this is a good signing is completely farce and makes me wonder if you know what the hell your talking about.

Goons are players like Kasparitis, Peter Worrell, Todd Bertuzzi...Fedoruk isn't a goon, nor is a dirty player. He's a gritty player who works hard and plays hard. He's a physical player and meant to stir things up. That makes people not like him. He can't be fighting anymore, his face won't allow it. He at least can play the game.

A decent signing by the Stars, Armstrong has realized the need for size in the lineup.

All the guy is is a human rag doll. He can't play at NHL caliber and never will be able to. I see no sense in signing the guy who is suppose to add "toughness" when he can only take one more punch to the face until he's out for the season.

You don't think he's capable of being a 4th line grinder? A physical player in the corners and along the boards? I know he's not, well shouldn't be fighting, I never said he would/could/should continue with that kind of role. I just think that at 27 years old, he had decent hands for the type of player he is, and I think he's still going to be able to make things happen. Hopefully those things won't involve broken faces. Now, if they could just figure out how to give him a titanium skull and skeletal system in his entire head and face....

Over the last 2 years, everyone has kicked his butt, I don't know if he's won a fight in the last 2 years, but the guy still has the heart and guts to go out there and do it anyway.
