Nice to see that Jokinen and Ribeiro got offers. I also hope that the offer is enough to get Khomitski back over from Russia. I really hoped that Miettinen wouldn't get an offer, hopefully now he'll get traded. Anyone else have any thoughts?

Ribeiro needs to take the Stars offer, they need all the scoring help they can get. Why don't you want Miettinen?

I don't know the Stars' cap situation off the top of my head, with these guys under contracts (albeit cheap contracts) can Dallas afford to keep any or all of Norstrom, Lindros, and Nagy?

They can keep Norstrom and they sorta have to keep him as he still has a year on his contract. They could fit Lindros in under the cap if he signed a cheap contract, but I don't think they want him back. Nagy is gone. He wants to much money for the type of production he had. Dallas just wasn't a good fit. The $2.2 million still counting against the cap from Guerin's contract will hurt the Stars a bit this offseason, but I think they'll still sign one or two FAs.

Norstrom is the only one who I think will be staying. He's the only one who needs to also. Nagy wants too much money, and Lindros isn't productive unless he's 100%
