TSN says:

Cortisone the primary hormone in steroids. Will he not he get in alot of trouble if he does that? And if so, why is it stated publicly?

Cortisone is nothing like steroids. It helps arthritis , carpel tunnel , asthma and many more diseases.

Not only as Prucha stated, but Cortisone alone won't give the effects of steriods, however it would show up on a physical. But it would have to have all the many other things that go into steriods for it to be illegal.

But it will show up in a steriod test. Cortisone, like I said before, is the primary hormone in terms of muscle growth in testosterone. A little Bio 30 comin' at ya.:box:

If cortisone is in fact, not illegal, it will prove to be an issue that proffesional sports will have to deal with soon.

Thanks alot, I'm in Bio 30, you just ruined a later lesson. :haha:

But your correct, If players start taking Cortisone, then that could start a whole list of potential problems down the road.

So..what if they have asthma? You do know asthma medications involve certain types of steroids to strengthen the lungs? I know for a fact that Gary Roberts has used ventalin(not sure on spelling) to combat his asthma problems. There is a difference between medication and full-blown muscle-building illegal steroids.

bishop, if a player has a condition with his heart or lungs there are certain medications that can be used to combat it... Some of them might have steroids but not near enough to effect there play.

You do got a point there ... Never thought about that to be honest... If that is the case then he should be allowed to take it.
