Default Lindros hoping Stanley Cup title occurs in Dallas

CBS SportsLine.com wire reports

DALLAS -- Eric Lindros has been a No. 1 overall pick, a six-time NHL All-Star and the league MVP. He even played for his hometown team.

But none of that brought him what he really wants: a Stanley Cup title.

"It's the one thing that's really missing as far as playing," the 33-year-old Lindros said Tuesday. "I think this is the best chance for me."

I don't see it happening in Dallas. Turco is golden in the regular season and sucks in the postseason anymore. He's like Cechmanek but with more talent.

Lindros need to worry about staying healthy, then he can worry about winning the Stanley Cup.

Pretty much the same thing he said when he signed in TO last summer, once again it was a season of injuries for the Big E........

I'm glad Lindros, is with the Stars. And I know if Dallas can beat Colorado in the semi, then they will win the cup. (I'm not taking an early ride on the bandwaggon, they are still my second fav team)

Let's work on staying healthy for 50 games first.

Turco needs to put it together to make it happen. Lindros is not the answer, Turco playing like he does in the regular season is!

Yes Turco does need to play better during the playoffs, but he is not the only problem. The defense needs to give him better support. The offense did a decent job this past postseason but they can still be better. However, Turco is the biggest problem.

Hopefully Lindros produces more than Arnott did. I'm a little concerned about having him be the second line center. If he gets injured, who will fill his spot? I hope he's healthy and plays well the entire season.
