Defenceman Dan Jancevski was recalled from the minor leagues Friday by the Dallas Stars to fill in for injured Philippe Boucher, who didn't travel with the team to St. Louis because of a sore knee.
Even though he didn't travel and will miss Saturday's game against the Blues, Boucher was listed as day-to-day by the Stars. He has 12 goals and 18 points in 41 games this season.
In 45 games this season for the Iowa Stars in the American Hockey League, Jancevski has 17 points (four goals, 13 assists) with a plus-7 rating and 59 penalty minutes. He was the Stars' second-round pick in the 1999 draft.
