(Sports Network) - The Dallas Stars may have lost an early-season showdown with San Jose, but they haven't dropped a game since.

The Stars visited the Sharks in San Jose on October 17 and were handed a 2-0 setback. However, Dallas has won three in a row since then and is currently tied for first in the Pacific Division with Anaheim. San Jose is two points behind with 14 points.

Dallas defeated Vancouver on Monday and Mike Modano was the hero in the 2-1 triumph, as he netted the game-winner on the power play midway through the third period.
