Well we all know this guy has had some amazing seasons since taking over the role of goaltending from Eddie 'The Ealge' Belfour. But his playoff appearances have not been sharp at all. Two years in Two years out. He struggled last year against Edmonton just barely making it out of that series and then losing it to Anaheim. This year let in some very weak goals against Colorado. You may argue Colorado is one of the most if not the most offensive team in the league, but some of the goals he let in were weak.
So my question is, can Turco perform in the playoffs? Is he another version of A Cloutier where the regular season is fine but it'll take the playoffs to show that he is worthy?
Yes he is. He had some great seasons, and being out twice in two years isn't abnormal. You can't expect him to win a Cup in that short a time span. Last year, Edmonton put up a good fight, and Anaheim was the Cinderella. This year, it was a harder battle against the Avs firepower. Plus, the Stars offence did nothing.
I think he could've played better, but the Dallas team in front of him wasn't that great. Modano, Guerin, Bure, etc. could've had better serieses(sp?).

I never said Cloutier was better, thats just insane, but what i was saying or asking is if he is along the lines of Cloutier where the only things that matter is if they can perform in the playoffs?
I don't think its all Turco's fault for losing in the first, and second round n the last two years, I mean they played Colorado in the first round nuff said, and they were the first team to beat the Ducks last year in the playoffs, but Turco diffenitly does not play as good in the playoffs as he does in the season.
Well I can only go by what I've seen, and what I've seen is Turco letting in some week goals every playoff series. So until he shows me any different I'll consider him just another guy who falls apart in the playoffs.
