the stars have a new line in the making. one that could possibly make 3 already well known players into a Dynasty line. i think u know what im talkin about. Modano Arnott Guerin Now that is a line to make goalies quake in their skates. im checkin out NHL.com, and they just scored. Arnott from Guerin and Modano. Left, right, center, to the back of the net. man, i love it. im tellin you guys, if each of these players do not score at least 70 points while on the same line, im gonna hurl. just becaus the stars lost hatcher and sydor doesnt mean theyre goin down in flames. they have one of the deepest teams in the league, almost the most threatening line in the NHL since the Legion of Doom (John Leclair, Eric Lindros, Mikael Renberg) and the best goaltender since WWII. how's that for you 2003-2004 Stanley Cup winning Dallas Stars?
Arnott won't get any more than his average 50-point area production. Hehasn't lived up to expectations, at least from a points perspective, since his awesome rookie season with the Edmonton Oilers. Has been prone to injury and inconsistency.
Guerin's point total has decreased each season, although so has his Games Played. Guerin may get close to 40 goals, around 70 points.
Modano will be up at that 80-85 point range again. The most consistent player in the NHL.
That line isn't too bad. Arnott is good, but not great.
ok, yall are crazy. separately, they might not be the best. but together, they are among the best lines.
Arnott has only played less than half the season twice out of 12 years, so i have no clue what you mean when you say he is injury prone. he has only played one full season with the stars. how do you expect him to adapt to all the different players and playstyles of this team in one season? just give him this season to prove himself, and i promise you he will come through!!
Guerin may not be the best player in the world, but consider this: he has played with the bruins and oilers for more than half his career, and neither of those teams has been known to produce very high scoring players, and keep them long enough for them to do something for the team (since 1990). Guerin is also not the scoring type. he is a power foward. but i think that Modano and Arnott bring out the best in him. how can you play with Mike Modano and not be good?
overall, i think that the stars have a better chance of winning than the leafs and the canucks.
