Blue Jackets Coach Ken Hitchcock and Sharks defenseman Brad Lukowich share some history and each had nice things to say about the other Wednesday.
"Brad's a really solid player," said Hitchcock, who was coaching Dallas when Lukowich broke into the league there. "He's a solid professional and he really is great support. He augments good players. He's smart and I think he keeps the team on an even keel. He does a great job."
Lukowich, 32, credited Hitchcock with giving him the confidence that he could find success in the NHL.
