i am sick and tired of hearing about this guy. even if he farts there is a sudden break in all regular game coverage to go to some sports centre to hear all about it.

this golden star of the NHL is detracting from the skills of the other players, many of whom are far better than him, but are just lacking in the pretty boy looks that afford hype, media hysteria and frenzy...

I'd say aside from Rutuu, Laraque and Gill, the whole entire Penguins squad are fairies.

Foppa looked good in tonight's game. No points but he was +1 I think.

Focus kids and try to pay attention to detail. This is an Av's forum and this discussion is about Peter the Great, FOPPA, Peter Forsberg. A proven veteran player that had a great first game back with the Av's.

I noticed a ton of offense from the Av's which made an easy job for the defense last night. I don't know if Forsberg changed the Av's exclusively, but there is definitely a difference with him on the ice. The SOG ratio was heavily one-sided for the Av's for most of the game.

If that doesn't get you excited for hockey, then you can't be a hockey fan.
