Thumbs up 20,151 in attendance last night at the United Center

According to NHL.com Chiacgo had a sell out game last night with 20,151 in attendance when Chiacgo played Edmonton. Was anyone at the game or did anyone see highlights? Was there actually that many people there? This is great for Chicago if they had a sell out game.

I don't know any facts on this claim but it's a real good thing all around for the Hawks and for hockey really. Chi town has passionate fans for all their sports. Hockey was huge there for a very long time. And now with this young team on the verge of being really good it would be a shame if this story was about them drawing 9 thousand...

That is really good to hear, they have been having problems drawing crowds for some time. Maybe the youthful exuberence of the team is catching on.

That's waht it said on TSN. The hawks also brought in 14,000 for a recent game, which is more than usual, and yesterday's game against the Preds drew 20,511

Looks like the fans are starting to come back.

Great new to hear! Especially from someone who was at the game. Good to see hockey is starting to roll again in Chicago. The Hawks have a bright future.
