CHICAGO (AP) -Mikko Koivu's third goal of the game - a deflection during a power play with 5.3 seconds left in overtime - lifted the Minnesota Wild to a 5-4 preseason win over the Chicago Blackhawks on Friday night.
Koivu scored with Chicago's Patrick Kane, the first pick overall in the 2007 draft, off for holding.
In regulation, Kane got his first goal and assist with the Blackhawks in his second preseason game.
Chicago's Sergei Samsonov scored from the slot with 1 second left in the third period and Blackhawks goalie Patrick Lalime on the bench for a sixth attacker to set up overtime.
