Hawks gearing towards change¿
Quote:
When the Blackhawks face off against the Colorado Avalanche on March 9, the Hawks could have a number of new faces in their starting lineup, reports the Chicago Tribune.
The actual game won't have much significance in the standings, but the trade deadline is 3 p.m. ET that afternoon and the Blackhawks are rumored to be involved in numerous trade discussions with playoff-bound teams.
The likes of Tyler Arnason, Jassen Cullimore, Mark Bell and Jim Dowd are just a handful of Blackhawk players mentioned to be on the trade block for the past few weeks and any, if not all, could be moved by the deadline.
However, the number current Hawks suit up against the Avalanche will be a precursor to what GM Dale Tallon will be able to do over the summer, unless the he can acquire what he's looking for via the trade front.
According to the Tribune, Tallon's top three priorities are finding two scoring forwards and a veteran backup goaltender.
