Default Well, that was humiliating...

I know the Hawks were 0-8-2 against Dallas going back to 2002... and I know Turco's career GAA against the Hawks is sub-1.00

But for the love of God,

- Final score of 9-1?
- Outshot 18-6 in the first period?
- Even MORE penalty kill failures?
- Letting the Stars go 4 for 9 on shots in second period?
-A Hat Trick for Stu Barnes?

Simply ugly... and sadly, I think the game seemed worse than a 9-1 defeat. Trent Yawney took all blame for not having the team prepared, but I think that's just him falling on the grenade (once again). We'll see how that plays out...

Why is the coach to blame? He's not out there playing. Too much emphasis is put on the coach when the team wins or loses. Come on Trent, the team played like crap.

that's what he was trying to say smart guy. He was saying the coach took the blame so ppl wouldn't understand that the HAWKS BLOW! (sorry hawks no offense). He is trying to get his team back in shape to get on a roll. By him taking the blame makes the players less guilty/crappy feeling.

Exactly... Yawney saying it was his fault was bull.

It only makes matters worse when there have been rumors of discontent from management with Yawney which was BULL**** (I'll post that in another thread).

I fear Yawney taking the blame, though, only masks the problems. The 2-1 OT winner doesn't help either, though its nice to win.
