Maybe I've missed it. Is Theo Fleury still with the Blackhawk organization? Have they released him or is he planning on returning to the club? When is his suspension up? Is his career as an NHL player over?

id think he still is he isnt on the free agent list,hey he can still get a good 50 points if he isnt drinking,suspended,or injured

I thought that he was suspended for violating league substance abuse policies again.

I am sure that Theo's signing was one of those "unauthorized" deals that Smith made that ended up getting him canned.

ok i just saw this thing while watching the nucks game and it showed all the hawks that played with them last year that they don't have this year...Flurey was on that list....so i guess he's gone...free agent...i guess...

Yes, Fleury is still certainly a member of the Blackhawks. Smith wanted him gone, but it was Brian Sutter, who has close ties to Fleury from their days in Calgary together that has been torn in what to do with him...let him go or keep him??? Now that Smith is gone, it should be interesting how this story develops. Fleury will be asking for re-instatement soon I believe, and baring some huge gasp, he will be let in. Whether the Blackhawks welcome his influence back into the locker-room is another thing, or just suspend him with pay ala Keyshawn Johnson!!!
