Brind'amour done for season
Rod Brind'amour is lost to the Hurricanes for the rest of the season after tearing his ACL in the game tonight against the Penguins. It look like a nothing type of played as he got sandwiched between Laraque and Smith and center ice.

That's tough, I wonder if he'll retire. He'll turn 38 before next year starts.

Brindie....man oh man. 38 and a blown out knee....bad bad news. However, two things in his favor. One, Doctors do amazing things nowadays, two, he's a fanatical work out freak. Apparently he's in incredible shape, if anyone can heal at his age it's Brindie.
I love this guy, I hope he makes a complete recovery.

Way too many injuries in Carolina as of late. Cullen, Eaves, Brindamour, Seidenberg. Tough times, hope they get through, and hope to see Brindamour back next seasn.

If Rod Brind'Amour is done, then I think that the Carolina Hurricanes are done. I think Washington and/or Atlanta are going to take them out of the playoff picture.
Hopefully Brind'Amour is doing alright.
