Eric Cole is down again, he went head first into Vokoun and is not moving, face down to boot, the stretcher is out. It looks like it might be another neck injury?

Eric Cole was moving his fingers, they are strapping him to the board now.

7:26 to go in the 3rd, game is tied at 3.

SUNRISE, Fla. - Carolina Hurricanes forward Erik Cole was removed from the ice on a stretcher in the third period Monday night after colliding with Florida Panthers goalie Tomas Vokoun.

Cole was injured at 12:34 as he was driving to the net. He was checked from behind by defenceman Jassen Cullimore and crashed headfirst into Vokoun's pads.

From what I could tell from the announcers, he had not gone to the hospital, just he dressing room? I can't imagine them not taking him to the hospital.

Eric Cole was taken to the hospital after all.
