Flames Off-Season Thread 2009.
Now that the Flames are finished for the year it's time to talk changes and look forward to the 09/10 season.

I'm hoping either Brent Sutter or Dave Lowery will be the coach next year, but I wouldn't mind seeing Playfair as head coach again either.

One thig is 100% Kipper played great under Playfair I'd like to a new coach only because
I think Keenan is to set in his old ways amd I'm tired of his constant mixing of the lines every game.

Cammalleri likes Calgary so does Burt and Accoin
Cammalleri, however, did not rule out a return. He said there have been no contract talks yet with the Flames. "I don't think it is impossible. I think Calgary is a possibility," said Cammalleri.
"I still have the drive and passion to do it," he said. "I have to take some time and figure it out. I loved it here. It's a great group of guys." Bertuzzi
"I don't think, the way things are in the world and, at my age, that I am due for a big pay raise," smiled Aucoin.
I wouldn't mid Aucoin booted out but as for the other two I hope they make a return!!

unfortunately I agree. I don't think the Flames will have the money that Cammy will be looking for.

Why? Perhaps because he has the team run and gun the sh*t out of the oilers?

He's under contract in New Jersey for one more season, and according to Lou, he's not going anywhere.

If we let Adrian and Todd go then yes we do have the room!
No chance in hell the Oilers will ever have a chance at such great players
