I would pretty much like with exactly what you have, but it will come down to salary cap, so I think it will look like this:
Mike Cammalleri (Let Go)
Todd Bertuzzi (Let Go)
Andre Roy (Let Go)
Jamie Lundmark (Keep)- 2 way contract
Warren Peters (Keep)- 2 way contract
Adrian Aucoin (Let go)
Rhett Warrener (Let go)
Adam Pardy (Must Keep)
Jordan Leopold (Keep)
Curtis McElhinney (Keep)
Have all these guys signed with 2 way contracts so we can send them down when needed:
Dustin Boyd (Keep)
Kyle Greentree (Keep)
Kris Chucko (Keep)

I think Mike Keenan might be kept to finish his last year of coaching and perhaps it will just be the rest of the coaching staff that is removed. Sutter silence is killing me but I hear from Rob Kerr changes will take place within 48 days.
It's a terrible thought that Keenan will likely stay and Playfair will go. Playfair is a good coach who is very farmiliar with the Flames system, letting him go is bad enough since 3 other teams in the NW div are looking for coaches. I'd hate to see us drop him to the Oilers, which I'm sure Lowe would jump on the oportunity to sign a rival coach.

The Flames have officially fired Mike Keenan. What do you guys think? who will take over and was it the right move?
I am actually kind of shocked that he's gone. Yes, the team didn't live up to expectations this season, but I just had a feeling that Keenan would finish off his last year of his contract.
I have no idea who the replacement will be. The only guy who comes to mind is giving Playfair another shot, but I don't know if that's the right move.

Another scape goat for Sutter doing a less than stellar job of putting a winner together.
First it's Playfair' fault and now it's Keenans fault, maybe Sutter needs to take a good long look in the mirror and realize who's putting this team together that keeps falling short of expectations.
I think the only choice now is Sutter himself back behind the bench o he can show us that it was the coaches all along and not him failing to build a winner.

Your kidding right!!! I'd rate Sutter as 3rd or 4th best GM in the NHL. And by far Sutters record as GM and coach for the Flames speaks for itself, 5 years of being in the playoffs is not falling short of expections for a team that could even make the first round for years on end. As for a new coach it will be interesting to see who he brings up but I would be shocked if Playfair got a 2nd chance.
I'd say that Sutter's probably overstayed his welcome in Calgary, if not, he's coming awfully close. Eventually the team consistently not "meeting expectations", as stated in the press release regarding Keenan's firing, things have to come back to Sutter and he would have to be held responsible.
Keenan was the third coach in four years, and whoever the replacement is will be the fourth in five years. Is there any other team that has this kind of track record, all while retaining the same General Manager? I can't think of one off the top of my head, possibly Montreal, although they have a lot harder time attracting free agents because it's Montreal and the pressure is insane and the taxation in Quebec is higher than anywhere else.
Sutter's responsible for what he gives Keenan to work with. Sutter decided that McBackup was a good enough goalie, so Keenan had to ride Kiprusoff for 90% of the season. Sutter's also responsible for the mis-management of the cap that resulted in Keenan having to coach an NHL team of 15 players. He's also responsible for hiring Keenan, but not allowing him to bring in his own coaching staff. Instead, Keenan had to work with guys like Preston.
Not to mention the failed trades and free agent that were supposed to put the team over the top the last four years. For a team that's "built for the playoffs" or at least considered to be by the media, the fans and most importantly, the people involved in the franchise itself, four straight first round exits is just unacceptable.
If the team gets off to a slow start or the season ends the same way next season, I wouldn't be surprised to see Sutter get fired as well.
Moving on to who would replace Keenan, well, the media in Calgary is stirring up a storm about how it's going to be Brent Sutter.
