That's beside the point, I think he ment UFA's avoid Edmonton because it's a dump of a city
Compared to Calgary? I don't like eithers setup, but I don't think Calgary has anything to brag about.
Of course I'm from classy Red Deer, so my opinion on how great a city is is probably moot.
If we let Adrian and Todd go then yes we do have the room!
No chance in hell the Oilers will ever have a chance at such great players
I wouldn't say yes we do have the room, we might have the room, depending on who else you are willing to part with, The Flames don't have much room as it is, and they are predicting the cap to fall to roughly $55 million next season, and Calgarys cap hit is already at roughly 48 mil, so we've only got roughly $7 mil to throw at these players: Cammalleri, Bertuzzi, Lundmark, Boyd, Roy, Leopold, Aucoin, Pardy and McElhinney or any players you bring in from the farm. So if we throw approx. $5 million at Cammy, that means we are probably going to lose guys like Leopold, Aucoin and Pardy (which I think would be a disaster to lose them and hand it to the youth of Negrin and Pelech). And we need a Back-up so McElhinney will eat up some cap too. Roy would be no big loss and Boyd and Lundmark are decent pieces which we could also lose.
So I still don't see it happening, but who knows, I could be wrong. Sutter has worked magic before.

Yes naming your major roads after dead animal parts makes your city look so classy!
Talk is cheap I'll believe he stays when the contract is signed, until then he's not staying imo.
To an ignorant person it may appear that the roads are named after dead animal parts, anyone else would realise they were native tribal names. Naming roads after dirt, now that's class. Not to mention where else in the world can you find traffic circles with stop lights? What does that say about edmonton?

Well it makes sense now we walked all over the Natives of north America for years we might aswell be driving over them now too. Lots of places actually have traffic circles with lights it depends on how the traffic set-up is.
and yes I know native American tribes that have there names involve Animals, it also involves some Tribe Chiefs.
And the Whitemud is named after a creek it crosses over not mud you fool.
