Calgary general manager Darryl Sutter, speaking for the first time since the Flames were eliminated from the playoffs, gave a thumbs up to head coach Mike Keenan on Friday as players gathered for the last time this season
I'm willing to give Keenan another chance but if he doesn't produce I say axe him.

Good I hope Sutter can work his magic again and get Langkow cheap. I hope Nolan decides to stay but if he's thinking about not playing thats to bad I really liked this guy.
Calgary Flames right wing Jarome Iginla, Pittsburgh Penguins center Evgeni Malkin and Washington Capitals left wing Alex Ovechkin are the three finalists for the Hart Trophy.
Even know we all know Iggy should be the one to win he won't because the east favors the eastren players.

This is very good news for the Flames, I hope this guy get lots of ice time if he makes the team.
Flames just signed a great young prospect with tons of potential. Everyone was very impressed with his play at the World Juniors and he looks like hes gunna be a good prospect. Hopefully he can crack the line-up next year.

Thats pretty delusional considering Ovechkin carried his team more then Iginla did, and he got them into the playoffs and had a much bette regular season then Iginla points wise. I don't see what argument you could make to put Iginla ahead of Ovechkin?

Because Iggy is an all around better player then Ovechkin but points wise no.

I don't see what you can give to show that he is all around better, Ovechkin had more points, more goal, a comparable Plus/minus and assists and they both hit. So what makes Iginla so much more well rounded then Ovechkin?
