Woo! Buffalo won Game 4 to make sure they didn't get swept out of the Playoffs, they put up a real fight tonight and have made it a series! Now they go into Game 5 at the HSBC arena with a slight advantage. They played extremely well tonight, and i believe they can still win this thing!!

Why have so many people hit the panic button in their minds on Buffalo? With this playoff loss yes there comes big disappointment, and yes with the probably departure of either Briere or Drury in the offseason, this will be a big loss for the Sabres. That said however for the most part this exact team will be back together next year minus 1 star player. Teppo Numminen has a slight chance of being a departure also. But with his and Briere/Drury's departure it's almost certain that the RFA's of Vanek and Roy will be signed so minus the one big departute, this exact team will be back next year, WITH lessons learned. This being said I look forward to some more February 22nds with ya guys in the future.

Drury is said to be "a done deal" to head to San Jose July 1st with Briere being resigned.

Can't seem to find the exact article. But it's an AP article found in many newspapers. This is pretty early to say "done deal" but again this was through the Associated Press whether it was Canadian Press or not I do not know. Again July 1st is still a long ways away. San Jose is still tight on cap space if this is true Marleau is going to get shipped somewheres as it appears he has peaked out in the Shark Tank HP Pavilion. I don't start rumours I just spread em, it's so hard to find reliable rumour information on the internet most of the time you end up slogging through piles of hfboards bull****, god I hate that site, thousands of people with nothing intelligent to say. But yes I read this in the newspaper this morning, sorry I don't have anything more for you and you can see why I said "done deal" not done deal.

The only bit of Drury info confirmation online I could find is from Eklund, supposed hockey guru hard to call it legitimate though.
