Another collapse for the sabres last night at home, and their playoff hopes are further darkened. Sabres lose, Caps, Bruins, Flyers win and Rangers get a point for the OT loss. The Sabres are now in 10th place, three points behind the Caps and 5 points behind Boston in 8th. Only 6 games remaining, which means they can ill afford to lose any of those games.

Didn't get to hear it, but if was anything like other night when they lost to Toronto, the boo birds were probably out in full force.

Well two games later and another third period collapse and the Sabres season may just well be toast. Their OT loss against Montreal is just another point down the tubes with only four games left. Yes Montreal is the better team on paper, and if this was midway in the season it wouldn't seem so bad, but they need to get all the points they can. It has just about come down to the point where they have to win out now, and still have to hope for help.
