As much as I missed Canada I had an amazing time in the Czech Republic. For going on the tour every person got a gift package from Hockey Canada got tones of Team Canada stuff.

I am pretty tired though, the flight from Prague to Montreal was delayed quite a bit because the airport was moving sooo slow. There was a direct flight to Toronto that was delayed over an hour because of the staff. We arrived 3 hours early and still just made the boarding time. Then to add to the perfect delay our flight was going to take over 8 hours, longer then on the way there.
We then arrive in Montreal our group parts and 7 of us heading to Toronto had our flight delayed I think about 3 times because of the fog in Montreal and Toronto. Our plane never arrived so our flight was eventually cancelled. The 7 of us then decided to rent a van and drive so all of us plus at least 12 pieces of luggage packed into a van and drove from Montreal to Toronto. Longest few hours of my life! But it was great. I am planning on going on the tour in Halifax for the World Championships with Hockey Canada again. If anyone else is interested in a tour with Hockey Canada and MSAT visit msat.ca. They are doing 2 different tours for the World Championships 1 in Quebec City and 1 in Halifax.

This trip has been AWESOME! so much stuff has gone on. Went to Dresden, Germany one day.. everyone expected to see the town totally ruined but it looked like it had never been bombed.

The Canada USA game the crowd was sooo loud at the arena, in our section we had some of the parents of the American players I was surprised not to see them more supportive they just sat there and clapped randomly.

The gold medal game was absolutly amazing it is so much better seeing it live. When Brad Marchand brough the cup into the crowd(our tour was on the opposite side) we all screamed NO WAY! We wanted it on our side but we had maybe 40 people so it wasn't nearly as big as desinty tours crowd. So three of us went down near the glass just incase a player decided to bring it to us... but it never happened. Drew Doughty did come up to the glass though with a flag the three of us were trying to wave him in but he didn't haha just waved, acknoledged us and skated away.
On our bus ride back to Prague some Canadians brought a suitcase full of beer so we had a mini party on the bus then after the first beer everyone passed out. We already had 2 drunk group members since the bronze medal game. One even passed out and missed the first period of the Canadian game.

Today a few of the players parents are joining us at our hotel today. EVERYONE is hoping maybe a player or 2 will show up but we know the odds are low.
This trip has been amazing soo worth the $3000. In may I hope to go on another tour for the World Championships, Hockey Canada is doing another tour in Quebec City and Halifax.
And Panoo I will definitly show you some pictures. My battery died after the team piled onto each other so I didn't get any medal pictures but some people from the tour are going to send me some of their pictures!

Today was a lot more exciting except I started the day out sick.
The first part of our day we went to Kunta Hora(?) We went to a Bone Church... yes a bone church.
At first when we got there our tour guild was walking us around a cemetary, not something I find quite exciting. We then are told we must pay to take pictures of inside the church which we all though was kinda odd but whatever. So we get inside and the church is literally made our of Human bones... there was pyramids of skulls, a huge light fixture made from jaw bones... it was something you would see out of a horror movie. We were told that there were 40,000 people in that church.
Finally leaving the bone church we went to another church, scratch the bones. It was GIGANTIC, unfortunately there was no heat in this church cause it was quite old.
We then took a tour around Kunta Hora, the people here don't stop for you when you walk in the middle of the road(not something you should reall do anyways) and theres no speed limit.

After our morning of touring we went to the Czech Sweden game. The place had more Canadian fans there then Czech fans, and I counted 4 Swedish Fans. If anyone was able to catch the game or at least watches highlights, you know how badly the Czechs played. About half of the people in our tour left to go drink beer and watch the game on television just right outside the stands. You weren't allowed beer or food in the seating area. After the game there was a gang of us looking for food, couldn't find a place. I met 2 Slovakian players and the group of us walked past the Czech Team after their game.

Then it was time for Team Canada to play, amazing game. Since the arena only had over 1000 people there.. again pretty much all Canadians a coupld of us moved closer to the ice I was about 2 rows behind the Team Canada bench which was pretty exciting.
It's New Years here now, Czechs are insane when it comes to fire works they have been going off since 10 pm. Tomorrow is our "recovery day" which a lot of people will need we are trying to find a place that will air the Winter Classic game tomorrow, we are going to try Jaromir Jagrs bar.
Then on January 2nd we get to go to the Canada House!, we get to meet the players parents hang out and drink beer. Since my tour is with Hockey Canada we are the only ones who get to go there which is pretty awesome. Then it's Canada vs Finland! Anyways this is pretty long I will be surprised if anyone actually read through it haha. happy New Year everyone and GO CANADA GO!!!

No sleep. 7 hour flight. And lots of waiting!
Thats all that went on today, except I got to eat my first Czech vegitarian meal... I had a choice between 2 things! wooo. Everything here is pretty cheap, the showers are like 2 feet off the ground and the toilets are deep. WAYYY different then North America. Anyways... I don't rally have much to say since I havent done anything yet but tomorrow I get to see Czech vs Sweden then Canada vs Denmark. Very excited. Go Canada Go!!
