Well after an aweful start(2-8 in the first 10 games) the Thrashers are keeping pace with the rest of the east led by Ilya Kovalchuk.

Kovalchuk is currently leading the NHL with 23 goals, but can he keep it up. The names directly behind him, Zetterburg,Ovechkin,Alfredsson and Lacavalier are pretty impressive. So do you all think that Kovalchuk can keep it up and win the Rocket Richard trohpy.

He has one of the best scorers touches in the league. Now if he focused on his defense a little and gave a bit of effort while playing it he would be on of the most complete players in the league

Although he's leading the race, the end is still far from sight. And I think that if he looks in his rearview mirror, there are a few players(Zetterberg and Ovechkin to be specific) that aren't goin to go away.
