Well, the people running the KHL are making SOME of the right initial moves. Luring homesick Russian players back for large amounts of money and also using the money to pursuade players who are past their prime or having trouble getting picked up by an NHL team. I think the KHL is already the strongest Euro/Asian team and is working to get even stronger. Down the line the league might be incredible, but as of now...not a threat to the NHL. The money, the lifestyle and the talent of NHL players is still enough to make so many high calibre players want to be a part of the NHL. As long as we can keep high profile players like Crosby and Ovechkin interested in playing here...
