On Thursday, Canucks general manager Mike Gillis told a Vancouver radio station that he hoped the draw of the 2010 Vancouver Games would help lure Sundin to Vancouver but MacLean believes the giant contract offer on the table might have a bigger say on Sundin's decision than the Games.

But MacLean had some bad news for Canucks fans.
