Sorry can't buy into that.

So answer me this , if you as a fan are so quick to turn on Mat then why support the Leaf year after year when they infact have give you as fans a far worse deal with their piss poor management and bad deals that have cost the Leaf more than Mat could ever dream of causing them.?

Seems like a double standard to me.
Not at all.

The organisation is run by money. I hope forthe best for my team year after year, but I don't buy any tickets or merchandise of any sort, and it has been that way for the last 5 years.

Anything Leaf related will not a penny from my pocket, and I wish more fans would do so. That's the only reason why they've been able to operate the way that they've operated. The fans. It is the fans' fault. Yes, I have realised that long ago. They allow this money making machine to keep chugging. Unfortunately a full-blown boycott doesn't look possible. It's been talked about, but for them most part it's just a dream.

At the same time though, Sundin leaving will hurt this team, and I wouldn't mind if he did (I'd like ot fall deeper in the draft). However, they won't be getting anything back to build of the future. With what he's worth (even at his age), even a high draft pick or so would do.

That's not helping.

With that said,I never said I hate him, but I am angry at him because of this fact (that is of course, if he does leave for free). And being a fan of this team, that means I'm getting shafted too... again... like always.
