First off if I wouldn't resign any of our RFAs it would probably be Ondrus, Mitchell and Foster are must resigns they have done so much on the Marlies they could prove to be fairly talented third liners in the NHL.

As for FAs I would like to think Sundin's days as a Leaf will have ended because he is going to do more harm then good for this organization, it is time to commit to the rebuild. The Leafs have finally developed a good core of prospects all looking quite promising, but there is a need for this franchise to build from that. Though I would not mind seeing Moore return, I think I would be lying if I would not miss him.

As for FAs this season I think the market is going to be unforgiving if we try to jump into the must make the playoffs mode again. The leafs are going to need to sign younger guys who have yet to reach potential and possible scout some late bloomers that reside in the Euro leagues, one that I have always liked is Canucks property, Brendon Reid, he is quick and creative, just weak shot.

As for Trading Wellwood, I would prefer not too, he had one bad season I would like to think he will recover from that, especially with guys like Kulemin coming to Toronto and such, Wellwood is really the only offensively creative player we have in our ranks.

Tucker shouldn't be bought out, and he can't be traded, he might as well stay in Leafdom and help raise players to his simularities like Kulemin or Mitchell.

Blake cannot be traded, his contract is too long and he is too expensive. He is either bought out or a Leafer for live.

Bell I think will be in Jail till mid October, but he still is under contract after that, and I can't imagine it would be too bad to keep him on, he is not the offensive threat he once was in Chicago but he certainly is a hard hitting fore checker that can be useful on any checking line.

As for Harrison, he is a great talent, but I can't see him being any better then the guys we have, there are only so many positions on the team and unless we loss Kubina, McCabe and one of White, Coliacovo, or Stralman then we are not going to see Harrison in the game until everyone is down with injury, or one of our young guns is a complete flop.

As for the Leafs proving something, all they did prove was this team is good when there is no exception to win, they neither have the drive or the maturity to win when the pressure is on, which is why they will only ever be close to the playoffs unless we rebuild.

Also top five Leaf prospects ready to make the Jump:
Kulemin
Tlusty
Stralman
John Mitchell
Vorobeiv

Top five to watch out of the NHL next season:
DiDomenico
Pogge
Ruegsegger
Frattin
Dale Mitchell
