He's not Daryl, but he might be a guy who could help this team at the right cost as a second liner.
The problem with the Canucks is that they really need two new top lines. If Naslund and Demitra are a part of a first or second line group that doesn't include the Sedins, I'd support them playing here.
The problem with the Sedins is that they can only score one way. They either need an elite winger to make them dangerous off the rush, or they need to be second liners who don't play against another teams best defenseive players.
The Sedins produced the most late in the season in '06. That was when they were second powerplay unit and second line for Crawford behind the big line. However the Canucks did not make the playoffs that year because of blueline injuries and a lack of clutch goaltending (sound familiar).
Naslund and Demitra are promising pieces to shift between first and second lines. Provided they have the right players for the first line.
