I would do something along the lines of this ...
Trade Hossa along with someone like Havlid and a 2nd round pick in 2008 to the flyers in exchange for Carter, prospect Claude Giroux and defenseman Randy Jones. (if that is a lowball offer, maybe add someone like Upshall)
Flyers get another offensive weapon who in my opinion would play well with Briere and they also get a veteran puck moving defenseman that is somewhat underrated.
Does anyone follow the Thrashers closely and have any idea on what they are looking for in a trade if they were to move him?
Should be interesting in the coming weeks anyways. What would you want in return if you were the Thrashers?
