I agree. The shape of your foot will play a major role in determining the most comfortable boot for you - after that, it is simply a matter of nailing down something in the price range you want. My main beef with Bauers is related to pitch, which is not soemthing you need to worry about too much as a beginner, but the S300 is a high quality boot that is stiif enough for support, yet flexible enough for a lighter, less agressive skater, and it comes with the Pitch 3 holder - a major plus. They fit narrow, though, so if you have a wide hoof you'd better look at CCM or Nike.
