Will it be the Leafs or will it be the Habs or Canucks?
The past 3 years, 3/6 canadian teams have gone to the cup final to have all lost. Flames, Oilers and Senators. Now we got 3 left and we can only hope as Canadian the trend continues (with the exception of habs of course..lol), so could it be the Leafs this year or in the next 2 years to go to the cup final?
Unfortunately while some stats may inferentially be in our favour, some are not... All 3 teams have lost, each losing worse after the last one, so even if Leafs do get into the cup final and game 7, true there's always a chance, but the odds aren't in our favour. In addition the players lack playoff experience, with the exception of the veterans. The goalies Raycroft and Toskala combine for few playoff games in total.
Anyways we'll see how it goes, a little too early for this kinda talk.
