The 2007-2008 season is here and I want to talk some Detroit hockey with fellow Red Wings fans.

Join in to the discussion and let everyone know what you think of this year's team.

Detroit has some returning stars (Lidstrom, Hasek, Datsyuk), some departed ones (Schneider, Lang), and some up and coming ones (Grigorenko, Filppula) this season but will it be enough to win this year?

We have experience on the blue line (Chelios, Rafalski) but do we have enough grit and toughness up front to put bodies in front of the net and forecheck?

I certainly expect a league topping performance this year. I just hope we're tough enough to make it all the way to win the Cup.

Any thoughts from Red Wings fans?
