Vic Hadfield's character was a bit over exagerating but everything else was great. Scotty Bowman looked almost identical to the actor who portrayed him. Great film, that was a great rivalry. I wish I could have recorded it back then but it wasn't invented then.
Those games are for sale in canada on DVD i have been told. i have the series on VHS.I have the book Hockey Showdown by Harry Sinden and Vic Hadfield did leave the team in russia along with 2 other players.that seen in the movie is correct according to harry sindens book.i recall those old days of hadfield and the GAG line.
